Boston United drop a place but remain seven points off leaders King’s Lynn

Night of mixed emotions for Pilgrims...

Boston United have dropped a place to fourth in the National League North... but it’s not all doom and gloom for the Pilgrims.

Chester moved up to third following tonight’s 3-2 win over leaders King’s Lynn.

They now sit a point above United, having played two games more.

But the result means that leaders Lynn have not extended their seven-point advantage over the Pilgrims, and the two teams are now level on 28 games played.

Brackley Town missed out on the chance of moving to within two points of Craig Elliott’s side this evening after drawing 1-1 at home to Southport.

The Saints remain sixth, four points behind Boston having played a game more.
