The Pilgrims host Gateshead today (KO 5.30pm), with a place in the National League North final at stake.

During his tenure, Newton saw United win the UniBond Premier play-off final at Bradford Park Avenue 10 years ago.
But this has been followed by three semi-final defeats at this level to opponents Guiseley, Chorley and North Ferriby United.
Guiseley and Chorley both progressed on penalties while Ferriby overcame a 2-0 first-leg deficit to win 3-2 on aggregate.
“We got ourselves in really good positions on at least two occasions and and not seen it through, we hope we can go further this time,” Newton said.
“We’ll give it our best shot.”
