Boston United have the opportunity to move up to fourth in the National League North this evening - but manager Craig Elliott expects a tough test at Bradford Park Avenue.

The in-form Pilgrims - currently seven games unbeaten - will attempt to complete their fixture at the Horsfall Stadium for the fourth time this evening (KO 7.45).

"This league throws up different challenges and the Bradford game is the perfect example of that," said Elliott, whose side will have to 'adjust' to playing on the hosts' 4g pitch.

"On their day they're a good team and would probably beat most teams in this league."

Victory would see Boston leapfrog Brackley Town and Kidderminster Harriers in the play-off spots, maintaining the pressure on leaders Gloucester City, who currently lead United by 12 points having played five games more.

Three points would also move United to within touching distance of Chester and AFC Fylde in second and third, who have also both played more matches.

United completed the double over Park Avenue last season, with 2-1 wins home and away.

With two victories and a draw from seven home league matches so far this season, 16th-place Bradford haven't enjoyed the best record at the Horsfall to date.

However, their last home contest saw them beat promotion-chasing York City 4-1.

This will be the fourth attempt to complete tonight's contest, following three previous postponements - one due to United isolating and two because of floodlight problems.
