Boston United are plotting a home hat-trick as they face three league matches at York Street in the space of eight days.

AFC Telford United are the visitors on Saturday (KO 3pm) before the arrival of Gateshead on Tuesday (KO 7.45pm).

Farsley Celtic will provide the opposition the following weekend.

“We’ve been delighted with our home form this season,” said manager Craig Elliott, whose Pilgrims have recorded 12 wins and three draws from 17 competitive games at the Jakemans Stadium this season, only beaten by leaders King’s Lynn and League One Rochdale in the FA Cup.

“It’s all about making some good memories for the final season at York Street.

“I said privately the other week, if the fans don’t come out and support us now they never will. We’re third and playing good football.

“But the atmosphere at the York game was fantastic. We had a good crowd and the fans are making some noise and getting behind us.

“It’s a good feeling.”

While Elliott was frustrated at scheduled National League North fixtures against Darlington and Brackley being postponed, this week he confessed the blanks in the fixture list have afforded him extra time with his squad ahead of the arrival of the Bucks.

“We’ve got that time to work on getting ready for Telford,” he added.

Boston left New Bucks Head with a 3-1 victory in November, Jordan Thewlis bagging the perfect hat-trick.

However, Boston lost 3-0 at Gateshead in September.
