Boston United target Jordan Nicholson joins Peterborough Sports

Boston United target Jordan Nicholson has joined Peterborough Sports.

Nicholson featured for the Pilgrims in their National League North play-off campaign after initially joining the club on loan from Hereford.

Originally manager Craig Elliott had hoped to make the move permanent after his departure from the Bulls, and spoke earlier this summer about hoping to retain his services.

Talks had slowed in recent weeks as the Pilgrims turned their attention to filling other positions, following strong recruitment in the attacking positions, although earlier this week Elliott said the deal was 'not totally dead'.However, this evening Sports boss Jimmy Dean announced he had joined the Southern League Central side.

Nicholson has formerly played for Peterborough United and Barnet.
