Both United matches are postponed

Skegness United were left without a match on Saturday as the first team's Lincs League match at Brigg Town and the Development Squad's contest at Manby in the East Lincs Combination League both fell foul to waterlogged pitches.

On Saturday the first team will now travel to struggling Market Rasen (KO 3pm), hoping to avenge the home defeat inflicted two weeks earlier.

The only injury problem is the continued absence of Ross Muirhead.

Alex Simpson is hoping to return to the squad, but he may have a run out with the Development Side to obtain match fitness.

Following the Rasen match, United are at home on March 19 against Hykeham Town in the semi-final of the Lincolnshire League Challenge Cup, with a 2.30pm kick off.

The derby match with Skegness Town has been re-arranged for April 12.

On Saturday The Development Side are away to the most improve side in the division, North Thoresby (KO 2pm), in the semi-final of the E&M Trophy (Division Three).

The winners will face North Cotes in the final.
