Broadhead handed Boston United debut as Norris makes York Street return

The utility man, who joined from Mickleover Sports ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline, has bee named in the starting XI by Pilgrims boss Adam Murray for today’s clash with National League North highflyers Salford City.

He is one of three changes to the side, with Mani Dieseruvwe making his first start and Kalern Thomas returning to right back.

Josh Robinson (illness), Lewis Hilliard and Colby Bishop miss out.

Harry Vince, who signed a contract in midweek, keeps his place in midfield.

There will be no place in the squad for Marcus Marshall, Joe Maguire or Joe Fitzpatrick.

Marshall and Maguire have joined Coalville and Buxton on loan respectively, with Fitzpatrick having his contract terminated.

Former United midfielder David Norris is in the Salford line-up.

Kick off will be at 3pm.
