Burgess targets BPA for first Boston United points

The Pilgrims will return to National League North action at Bradford Park Avenue following their blank weekend (KO 7.45pm).

And Burgess, who made his debut in last Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to Stalybridge Celtic after joining from Ilkeston, is hungry to know what victory tastes like with United.

“I like the night games under the lights,” the defender confessed.

“I like it, it’s a better atmosphere, and it would be special if we could get the points as well.

“I’d love to get my first three points there.”

Victory could see Boston move up to third.

Park Avenue - who Boston are yet to face this season - currently sit in the bottom third of the division.
