The two sides were due to meet in the Dales Memorial Trophy last month.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the date was initially put back to August, but it has now been confirmed the two sides will meet at Boston United’s new Jakemans Community Stadium next year, on a date to be confirmed.

Jay Kontzle (Emmerdale), Danny Miller (Emmerdale), Lloyd Griffith (Comedian, Soccer AM), Thomas Turgoose (This Is England), Daniel Jillings (Hollyoaks) and Dean Fagan (Coronation Street) were also scheduled to be in action.

Any tickets purchased for the event will remain valid.

The Dales Trophy has raised £15,000 for good causes since it was first held in 2013.
