Could Pierce Bird and Lewis Gibbens return to Boston United?
Craig Elliott hopes he can bring Pierce Bird back into the Boston United nest.
The defender enjoyed a successful five-game loan period at the Jakemans Community Stadium as United recorded two wins and three draws, before the 21-year-old returned to National League Eastleigh this week.
"I hope so," Elliott said, when asked if Bird could return.

"They changed the agreement (of the loan), what they wanted, so it didn't fit in with what we could do. He wanted to stay and they've said he's not going to play, so we'll see.
"I've been there as a manager, whether they're trying to get somebody in and that happens further down the line, we'll see."
Fellow young defender Lewis Gibbens remains on loan at Worksop Town, but he could return to the Pilgrims.
Elliott is desperate for the former Mansfield Town man to get much-needed game time after two seasons plagued by injuries.

With the Northern Premier League season currently postponed, Gibbens remains on loan at Sandy Lane with hopes that he could return to action with the Tigers.
But Elliott has suggested that could change, adding: "He's one I wish could get a bit of luck.
"We sent him out to get games and their season got stopped, so we are waiting to see what happens there before we recall him.
"I'm hoping he can come back training with us and we'll see what happens there, maybe we can bring him back into the squad.

"It's not falling well for him. He doesn't seem to get a break at the right time."
