Trinity got off to a flier when Rod Orlando-Young put them ahead after just four minutes following good play by Tyler Hamilton out wide.

But they were pegged back three minutes later when Isaac Baldwin levelled.

The visitors hit the front through Tom Owens on 54 minutes, before Jame Hooper sealed the points with a minute to go.

“I’m not angry, I don't feel like we are miles off. I feel we played ok and didn't deserve to lose,” said Woodhouse.

“We gave them three goals and that’s the frustrating point, but I’ve seen plenty of positives.

“You can't be in the clouds when you win an devastated when you lease, life and football is not like that

“If we play like we did today and cut out the mistakes then we will be competitive and that is the aim in every game this season.

“We are where we are and the lads are giving it their all, every player gave it 100 percent and that's all you can ask for as a manager. That is why I am proud of their effort.”

And Woodhouse believes his side can learn plenty from the game, with tightening up at the back one of the key areas.

The Trinity boss also backed his side to keep improving as they grow together through the season.

“It was a frustrating afternoon, I thought a lot of our play was really good,” he added.

“The goals we gave away were shocking. They had three shots and three have gone in

“We have to do better in those aspects, but we kept going and never gave in so I’m proud of that effort.

“We came out and penned them in in the second half but lost the half 2-0.

“We didn't get enough shots in on goal. We don't have a natural centre forward at the club and it is what it is.

“I don't think we are miles off, it was a pretty even game

“We had the majority of possessions, but we had to work very hard for our chances where we gave them three goals.

“It is a good learning curve for us and something we have to learn quickly.

“We will get stronger as we get a better understanding of each other and grow.”
