Defeat ends St Juste and Wildin's hopes

The Boston United winger was on international duty in a contest re-arranged due to Hurricane Matthew sweeping through Haiti.

The result means that St Kitts and Nevis finished bottom of their qualifying group and their hopes of reaching the Caribbean Cup and Gold Cup finals are over.

But the result also affected the hopes of St Juste’s Pilgrims teammate Courtney Wildin.

Haiti’s win saw them sneak into the fifth-place play-off group - open to the top three second-placed teams in their groups - meaning Wildin’s Antigua and Barbuda side missed out, despite finishing with the same amount of points and goal difference as Haiti.

Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago will also compete in the final qualifier.
