Dinnington U9s need new stars

The club play in The Rosehill Press Sheffield and District Junior League and have remained unbeaten for three seasons at home.

Away from Dinnington, they’ve made trips to academy sides at Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Manchester City and Doncaster Rovers.

Manager Mike Widdison is now on the hunt for new talent.

He said: “We are entering competitive football for the first time in the coming season, and want to invite new players to training sessions where we’ll hold open trials.”

“If you’re the next Wayne Rooney or Ronaldo and want to play for us, we want to hear from you.”

The open trials will take place on 9th June at the club’s base at Dinnington Resource Centre, and anyone interested should contact Mike on 07583 518664 for more information.
