Duo depart Northolme

TRINITY boss Steve Housham has confirmed that both Craig Nelthorpe and Rory Coleman have been allowed to leave the club.

Former boss Brian Little signed the pair in the summer but together they have started only a handful of games this season.

Nelthorpe joined the club on a one-year deal from Gateshead but found his first-team chances limited on the Northolme while Coleman linked up with the Blues after coming through the ranks at Scunthorpe United.

Housham said: “I’ve given them both enough chances and they have not lived up to expectations of what we are trying to do here.”

“It’s sad to let them go but I wish them all the best in the future.”

“We’ll be in the market this week, it’s a full-time thing that both me and the chairman do but there will definitely be changes.”

Striker Sam Mulready has already arrived at the club on a month’s loan from Grimsby Town and appeared as a 63rd minute substitute in the defeat against Boston.

“He is young lad but he’s quick, sharp and will give competition for places especially now we’re missing the likes of Ryan Kendall,” Housham added.
