East Lincs Combination League returns with double bill after five-month lay-off

The East Lincs Football Combination will resume this week after a five-month lay-off.

Due to lockdowns and the Government’s Covid tiering system, teams haven’t been able to play since October 31.

But all that will change this week with a double bill of action.

Saturday will see teams return to league action, followed by a series of midweek matches.

In the Spectrum Print Division One, this weekend’s matches see Alford Town host Cleethorpes Town A and Louth Old Boys visit Keelby United Reserves.

Louth Town FC Reserves entertain Grimsby Borough FC Development A and North Somercotes United visited by AFC Holton Le Clay.

Next Wednesday evening, Cleethorpes Town A are at home to AFC Holton Le Clay, with the other fixtures seeing Immingham Town Reserves returning with a home clash against Keelby United Reserves, Louth Old Boys hosting Alford Town and Louth Town Reserves at home to North Somercotes United.

This weekend’s Philip Jackson Division Two action sees Marsh Rovers host Louth Old Boys Development, North Cotes entertain Scamblesby and Sutton Rovers visit North Thoresby.

On Tuesday Louth Old Boys Development are at home to Scamblesby, North Cotes host North Thoresby.

Sutton Rovers face Susie Stars at home on Wednesday evening.

Brian Todd Homes Division Three action also resumes on Saturday.

Market Rasen Town are on the road at AFC Grainthorpe.

Alford Town Reserves host North Somercotes United Reserves and Louth Old Boys Vetshost Louth Town Cogs.

Division Three wil also see midweek action on Tuesday.

Louth Town Cogs host Burgh Athletic, with Market Rasen Town entertaining Louth Old Boys Vets and North Somercotes United Reserves at home to AFC Grainthorpe.

Weekend matches kick off at 2.30pm with midweek games all getting underway from 6.15pm.
