European Cup winner visits Retford
NOTTINGHAM Forest legend John Robertson signed copies of his new book Super Tramp in Retford.
The Scotsman won two European Cups with the club under the guile of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor in 1979 and 1980.
Setting up Trevor Francis’ winner in the ‘79 final against Malmo in Munich, he went on to score the only goal of the game against Hamburg in the Bernabeu to give Clough and Taylor back-to-back European glory.
