Evening with footie author
FOOTBALL fans are invited to an evening with a top sports author in Bawtry.
‘An evening with Lancy Hardy’ will feature his book entitled Stokoe, Sunderland and ‘73, a British Sports Book Awards nominated bestseller.
The event, at Bawtry Library on Friday 14th December at 7.30pm, will include a reading, a question and answer session and signed books will be on sale.
The book tells the story of Sunderland’s shock win over Leeds United in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium in 1973.
Tickets are on sale from Bawtry Library at a cost of £3.
