Extra training as Boston Town prepare to face Holbeach United in cup semi-final

Gary Edgley will put his Boston Town squad through their paces today as they prepare for their cup semi-final.

The Poachers were due to host UCL Premier rivals Peterborough Northern Star at the DWB Stadium today, but the conditions put paid to the contest.

However, Edgley will make the most of the freed up time as Town set their sights on Tuesday evening's Lincs Senior Trophy semi-final clash against Holbeach United.

"We'll train today. It's always hard training on a Saturday as it's tough to get players motivated as they've had their heads ready for a game.

"But it's important as it gives us some more time to prepare for Holbeach in midweek.

"It also gives a couple of players who are 50-50 for that game the chance to get a bit more fitness."

United host the Tigers on Tuesday evening (KO 7.45pm).
