FA CUP: Boston United to face Newcastle United in the FA Cup?

Boston United could face Premier League Newcastle United in the FA Cup’s third round.... but first they have to get past Rochdale.

The Dale and the Pilgrims, ball 57 in tonight’s draw, will replay next week following Sunday’s goalless stalemate at Spotland.

And the winning side will host the Magpies over the weekend of January 4.

National League North Boston are the lowest ranked side left in the competition, and the only remaining Lincolnshire side.

The draw was made at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium by ex-Premier League defenders Tony Adams and Micah Richards.
