Coningsby were at home on Saturday for what turned out to be an eventful match, with the highlight being a hat trick of goals from Shaun Boothby.

The first was midway through the first half when Boothby headed in a rebound off the crossbar.

With five minutes to go to the break, Boothby made scoring a penalty look ridiculously easy, but Pointon replied with a goal just two minutes later.

Five minutes into the second half, Boothby Shaun struck again, this time from a solo run and jig around the keeper.

The Reds’ final goal came when, 10 minutes later, a free kick eventually found the head of Tom Sewell who nodded it into the net.
