Monday saw the under 12s up against Branston Community Academy just four days after securing their place in the final with a 4-1 victory over Sleaford neighbours St George’s Academy.

Carre’s played some good football in difficult conditions and brought the first trophy of the week back to the school with a comfortable 3-0 victory.

They had also managed to win through to the under 14s and under 15s finals the following day, with the U14s facing Caistor Grammar and the U15s playing Boston Grammar.

Both games finished 1-0, but unfortunately for Carre’s under 15s they were on the wrong end of the result.

The U14s, however, defended valiantly in the closing minutes to secure their second county title in three years.

The third piece of silverware arrived on Wednesday, with the Carre’s First XI (Under 18s) beating Boston Grammar 1-0 to retain their Lincolnshire Schools and Colleges League title.

This capped off a fantastic year for the squad which reached the quarter-finals of their national competition earlier this year.

Carre’s head of PE, Martin Wilson, said: “We are proud of all our sports teams, win or lose, but it’s always nice to get some trophies to show for the hard work and dedication of the students and staff.”
