Former Sheffield United and Bristol City winger Woolford joins Gainsborough Trinity

The 34-year-old has moved to the Northolme from fellow Lincolnshire club Boston United, where he made 19 appearances last season.

"Woolly's played 500 league games," manager Curtis Woodhouse told the club's YouTube channel.

"He's got bags of ability and we're very fortunate to get him. He'll be a great player for us.

"One thing we lacked last season was composure in the middle of the park. I was looking for a midfield orchestrator and Woolly will be that man."

Woolford has also featured for York City, Scunthorpe United, Millwall and Grimsby Town, among othr clubs during his career.
