Boston Town were beaten 2-0 at Quorn, but manager Gary Edgley says he had plenty of positives to take from the game.

Stephen Hart's brace settled the UCL Premier contest on a day when the Poachers failed to take their chances.

However, Edgley believes that the performance will hold his side in good stead.

"We beat Sleaford 6-0 the week before, but we created more chances on Saturday than we did against Sleaford," he said.

"We've probably missed three open goals. I thought that we probably created another seven or eight good chances and not taken them.

"In terms of the performance we've put in, I was happy with the lads against a team like that. I felt we more than matched them.

"If you don't take your chances you're up against it. They took theirs and that's the story of the game.

"That's frustrating but everybody played well and everybody worked their socks off. No complaints about that.

"But we can't create that amount of chances and not take them. It was one of those days."
