George Willis latest Boston United squad member to find new club

George Willis has joined National League North rivals Alfreton Town.

The goalkeeper is the latest member of last season’s Boston United squad to move on.

Willis joined the Pilgrims from Gainsborough Trinity in 2017 and made 88 appearances, although he found opportunities hard to come by this season following the arrival of Peter Crook, returning to the Northolme for two loan stints.

Jonathan Wafula, Alex Whittle, Ashley Jackson, Simon Ainge, Martyn Woolford, Ben Middleton and Matt Challoner have also left United.
