Hat-trick of games await Wyberton

Wyberton face a league and cup triple bill this week.

The Colts return to Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League action tonight (Wednesday) when they host Horncastle Town.

The two longstanding rivals always serve up a battle and tonight’s contest should be no different - and this contest will see Colts boss Jon Macleod facing off against Wongers manager Allan Ross - who was a former youth coach of his.

Action at the Causeway kicks off at 7.45pm.

This will be followed by Saturday’s Lincolnshire Junior Cup contest, with the Butchers Arms - based in the north of the county - visiting the Causeway (KO 1.30pm).

Wyberton reached last season’s county cup final - but never got to play the match as the competition was scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Completing the week’s action will be Tuesday’s visit to Grantham Town Academy for further Lincs League match action.

The contest will get underway at 7.45pm.

The Colts suffered a 2-0 defeat at Epworth Town Colts on Saturday, Harrison Coley and Matthew Fowler neting.
