FA Cup fever has hit Boston.

The Pilgrims will host League One Rochdale at the Jakemans Stadium on Monday, the winners earning the right to host Premier League Newcastle United in round three.

United, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, earned their replay following a goalless draw at Spotland.

And now fans are flocking to buy tickets for the match.

More than 2,500 tickets have been sold so far, club officials have confirmed.

Tickets went on general sale on Monday, with locals eager to be part of the action, which will be screened live on BT Sport.

Terracing tickets can be bought on the night if still available while seating in the Mick George Stand is ticket only.

United’s ticket office is open 9am-5pm weekdays and will be open from 9am until kick off on match day.
