'I don't think we scored enough goals last year!" New-look strikeforce paying off, says Boston United boss Craig Elliott

Craig Elliott's attempts to bolster Boston United's strikeforce appear to be paying off after the club reached 10 goals for the season after just three competitive games.
After beating AFC Mansfield 4-2 in the FA Cup, the Pilgrims have secured 4-0 and 3-2 league wins against Leamington and Telford.

"I don't think we scored enough goals last year," said Elliott, despite his side reaching the National League North play-off final and finishing third.
"I didn't think we had enough quality in the final third and we had a great season and were defensively very good.
"We just had to find a balance and I love clean sheets. But I thought we definitely needed to score more."
