Craig Elliott is desperate to get his hands on a trophy with Boston United.

The Pilgrims will meet Cleethorpes Town in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup final at Lincoln City's LNER Stadium tonight (KO 7.45pm).

And Elliott says the contest matters just as much as March's six league fixtures.

"The players didn't think I was serious when I said that," he told The Standard.

"I had three aims this year: I wanted a good FA Cup run, I wanted to win the Lincolnshire Cup, that's why I took it so seriously, and I want to be in the promotion mix.

"The Lincolnshire Cup will be taken seriously. We've got to do that. We've put too much work into the previous matches.

"Every game will be a big game now. I miss winning trophies, it's be nice to win one again."
