Jordan Thewlis, Dominic Knowles and Jonathan Wafula secured a 3-1 victory at Kidderminster Harriers, which keeps the Pilgrims in the play-off spots.

"I think we won without being at our best, but very efficient," said Elliott, who took charge of his 100th United game.

"I'm starting to believe we're going somewhere as a team now.

"With and without the ball I thought we were good at times. We did what we had to do with players missing, we lost Andi Thanoj (to injury) and Demeaco (Duhaney, recalled by Huddersfield) in the week.

"These could be excuses but players came in and played well.

"Any win away from home in this league is a good result. We've got to be happy with the day's work."
