KING'S LYNN TOWN 1 BOSTON UNITED 3: Early blitz secures victory
Two goals in the opening nine minutes set the scene as Boston United left the Walks with a 3-1 victory in last night's warm-up match against King's Lynn.
Liam Adams, a trialist who has caught Dennis Greene’s eye, and Lamin Colley gave the away side an early cushion.
Joe Maguire added the third in the opening half, connecting with Lewis Hilliard’s free kick.
Pilgrims old boy Michael Clunan pulled a goal back for the Linnets from the spot with 15 minutes to go.
United’s team included two unnamed trialists and burly target man Greg Smith, who impressed Greene during the 3-3 draw with Stamford on Saturday.
