Late Margetts goal earns 10-man Gainsborough Trinity a draw in thriller at Prescot Cables
Ten-man Gainsborough Trinity underlined their togetherness and never say die attitude with a last gasp Jonny Margetts goal, earning Russ Wilcox's men a share of the spoils with a 2-2 draw at Prescot Cables on Saturday.
A dramatic game saw the Holy Blues lead, then trail but ultimately earn a point in a game that had just about everything on Merseyside.

Gainsborough were quickly out of the traps in a dominant first half showing and deservedly took the lead on 15 minutes through Sisa Tuntulwana's fifth goal of the season, Tuntulwana getting the telling touch to Frank Mulhern's flick on, taking the ball away from Calvin Hare's despairing dive.
They could have been further ahead by the break as Frank Mulhern, from the tightest of angles, brought out a reactionary save from Hare and Tuntulwana headed over.
Cables top scorer Ben Elliot did force a save from David Robson, who was smartly down at his near post to divert the ball behind for a corner kick.
Mulhern then fizzed a right foot volley half a yard wide of Hare's goal before Butroid got up to head down into the ground and Hare produced a top save to keep his side in the game.
Twice in a matter of minutes, Ashley Jackson got on the end of Johnson set pieces. Twice, the Trinity centurion went close to finding a way past Hare, but twice the Blues were left to rue the missed opportunities.
Trinity were given a wake up call when Cables had a goal disallowed for offside, and that saw a shift in momentum in favour of the hosts.
Prescot came back out fired up and Trinity found themselves increasingly under the cosh.
Foley forced a back-pedalling save from Robson, before Moonan rose highest to head home a Foley set piece to level on 56 minutes.
Prescot were starting to dominate as the swirling fog continued to descend.
On 70 minutes Aaron Simpson did brilliantly to win an aerial duel in the middle of the park - only to be clattered by Charley Doyle, Simpson's header landing kindly for substitute Margetts to hone in on goal.
But, eager to stop play and caution the Cables substitute, the referee inadvertently deprived Margetts of a clean run through on goal.
And two minutes later, Trinity found themselves down to 10 men when Simpson was shown his second yellow card of the afternoon.
Things went from bad to worse as Ben Elliott immediately profited from a moment's indecision to lash the ball into the roof of the Trinity net on 72 minutes.
But, four minutes into added time, up popped Margetts with his 11th goal of the season to grab Trinity a share of the points, earning Trinity a hard-earned first point against Prescot, in three attempts and rescuing a point from a game that the Holy Blues had done more than enough in to have won in the first half.
