Spilsby Town Reserves got their Maccasports Trophy campaign underway with a fine performance away at Pointon Reserves, winning the game 6-1.

Spilsby’s goals came from Jordon Turner (two), Jay Rossington (two), Will Allen and Lewis Allen.

Eagle United Reserves and Bull Athletic Reserves shared seven goals in a thriller which the Bull won 5-2.

Tom Bates and Giorgio Kerman-Fiore scored the consolation goals for Eagle.

In a hard-fought game between Sibsey and Railway Athletic Reserves it was Railway who won the game 2-1, Chris Darrigan scoring the only goal for Sibsey.

In the game at Woodhall Spa United Reserves there wasn’t much to choose between the two teams, but Boston Bears came away with a 1-0 victory.
