Following Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Cogenhoe United, Poachers boss Frost is calling on his defence to tighten up.

However, they face a tough task against a side who have already scored 60 times in 16 United Counties League Premier Division matches.

Sports, who have won 14 and lost twice to date, have a goal difference of +50 and can boast former Boston United players Mark Jones, Richard Jones and Dan Lawlor amongst their squad.

Victory looks like an impossible job for Town, who sit in 16th and have shipped 41 goals to date.

But Frost is going with a positive attitude: “If we play like we played in parts on Saturday then we can trouble anyone in this league,” he said.

Sports also showed they are beatable on Saturday as they went down 2-1 at title challengers Eynesbury Rovers.

But Frost knows what needs to be resolved if his team are to have any chance of causinga shock.

He added: “We just need to sort the defending out a bit.

“In a game like Saturday if we score twice then we should be winning the game at this level.

“We’ve conceded seven in my first three games and we need to tighten up, win more first balls and be more aggressive.”

Kick off will be at 7.45pm.
