National League North title winner Scott Duxbury bolsters Boston United's left side

Boston United have added former National League North title winner Scott Duxbury to their squad.

The left back has linked up with Craig Elliott's squad ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Duxbury, 25, came through the Stockport County youth system before joining Northwich Victoria.

He returned to the Hatters in 2016 and was part of the squad which won the National League North title in 2019.

That summer he moved to National League AFC Fylde, and also spent part of last season on loan at Chorley.

He looks set to battle fellow summer recruit Josh Askew for a place on the left side of defence.
