No-show means cup progress for United

In Division 3, Ship Inn Morton moved up to second after a 3-0 win over newboys Crown Inn Belton, who gave Ship Inn anxious moments before the better finishing of the Ship Inn team proved decisive.

Kings Arms Reserves made it a good day for the club with a 12-1 win over Ropery Inn.

Ropery Rangers can’t stop conceding and the latest, 15-0 to Stanwood Engineering, showed vulnerable they are defensively, but they were praised for their sportsmanship.

Westwoodside inflicted a first defeat of the season on Horse and Jockey, winning 5-1 to announce that they are a force to be reckoned with in the division.
