The Poachers, currently in 19th spot, travel to face second-placed Eynesbury Rovers at the Alfred Hall Memorial Ground (KO 3pm).

Rovers drew 0-0 at Desborough on Saturday to end their run of three straight victories in the United Counties League Premier Division, leaving them five points behind leaders Peterborough Sports.

Gary Frost’s side will also be in league action next Wednesday, away at mid-table Peterborough Northern Star (KO 7.45pm).

It has been a frustrating week for the Poachers, who conceded five times in consecutive matches, slipping down to 19th in the standings in the process.

On Saturday Frosts’s side were beaten 5-0 at Rothwell Corinthians.

This came just four days after a 5-1 loss at league leaders Peterborough Sports.

Poachers debutant Michael Harness, who has been playing in the Lincolnshire League with Horncastle Town so far this season, got on the scoresheet with his side already two-down on Tuesday night.

But three further goals came after the half-time break to down Frost’s side.

Mark Jones and Josh Moreman both netted braces and Dan Clements also got on the scoresheet.
