Mark Angel’s side will go into the contest full of confidence having recorded two victories from three meetings against the Tigers already this campaign.

They left Holbeach with a 2-1 United Counties League Premier Division success back in November, as well as dishing out a 5-0 thumping in the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy at the DWB Stadium in September.

Before those two meetings was the league fixture in Boston, which the Tigers won 1-0.

The victorious side next month will go on to host Wisbech in the semi-finals at a date to be confirmed.

Saturday’s clash in Northamptonshire finished at 3-3 after the initial 90 minutes.

Jordan Nuttell hit a brace as Town led 2-1 at the interval, Brian Farrell scoring in between those two finishes.

Eight minutes after the re-start Leon Simpson levelled things up again, only for Richard Ford to put the Poachers in front for a third time.

Rangers levelled once again as James Doughty was caught out by Lewis Burgess’ long throw-in.

But just four minutes into time added on Craig Parker handed Boston a lead they didn’t relinquish, Alex Beck making things safe late on with his first goal since December.
