Gary Edgeley has been brought in as head coach.

The former Skegness Town and United manager was Frost’s rival during his time in the Wyberton dug-out, but the Poachers boss believes the ‘tactically-minded’ coach can help the squad pull themselves away from the United Counties League Premier Division’s drop zone.

On the playing side, Jason Field, Jonny Lockie, Ryan Parnell, Nicky Frost and Jordan Tate have all joined the club.

Field, a former Poacher and Boston United defender, and teenage striker Lockie have both joined on loan from Spalding United.

Field has previously played 78 times for Town, while Lockie has recently had trials with Leicester City.

Meanwhile, Frost joins from Wyberton and Parnell has rejoined the club from Sleaford Town.

Jordan Tate has been part of Boston United’s youth set-up.

The Poachers earned a goalless home draw with Harborough on Saturday.

Although the point sees them remain in the bottom two, they are now level on points with 20th-placed Kirby Muxloe, who Town now travel to face in a crunch battle on Saturday.

Kick off at Ratby Lane will be at 3pm.

But before that, Town travel to Wisbech Town tomorrow (KO 7.45pm).
