Gary King gave Nathan Collins’ side a 25th-minute lead before the Zebras levelled with 15 minutes left courtesy of a George Hobbins own goal.

However, two goals in the final 10 minutes settled the Northern Counties East league Division One clash in the Lilywhites’ favour, Danny Brooks restoring the lead and Ben Davison having the final say.

Town return to action on Saturday when they host Retford (1pm).

Fifth-placed Retford sit three places and five points ahead of Skegness, but have played five games more.
