Millers get Wood on loan

A versatile player, who can operate at full-back or on the wing, Wood is well known to manager Andy Scott after he signed him for the Bees in 2008.

Wood has made five league appearances for the London club so far this campaign, plus three appearances in the cup competitions.

The new boy said: “Obviously I haven’t really had a look in at Brentford, and I’ve worked with the gaffer before at Brentford.”

“There was an injury on Saturday to a left-sided player, and he got on the case quickly to get me up here.”
