Millers shift attention to Blades clash
The two teams meet in the second round of the tournament following Sheffield United’s 2-1 victory at Burton Albion at the end of August and Rotherham’s first round bye.
A place in the Northern area quarter final will be up for grabs for the winners, leaving them only four games away from a Wembley appearance.

Hide AdRotherham have not beaten United for 22 years. They last beat the Blades when they won 2-1 in the League Cup in 1989. Since then the teams have met eight times in the league and United have come out on top five times with the remaining three ties being stalemates.
This weekend Andy Scott’s men dropped to eighth in the league after a 2-0 away defeat to the improving Port Vale.
The defeat means Rotherham have now not won in four matches and have failed to score in their last two.
Skipper Ryan Cresswell will miss the cup game with no date yet set for him to return following the ankle injury he picked up in training.

United’s first round match saw them come from behind to beat Burton Albion 2-1.
However like the Millers they have been struggling to find any for of late, losing their last two matches.
Last weekend the Blades lost 2-0 at home to Charlton Athletic, with manager Danny Wilson saying the team missed out on vital chances.
