The Pilgrims were left smarting following New Year's Day's 3-0 home defeat to leaders King's Lynn.

But after defeat to top, Boston now travel to the side at the bottom of the table.

"This league will always be about how you react to a loss or bad performance, and I think that's one thing we've talked about as a group," Elliott said.

"We'll get problems along the way, that's for sure at this level.

"The important bit's how quickly you come out of that. To be fair to us this season we've done that well."

United have responded to their six previous league defeats with victories in their next match so far this season, with Elliott keen to continue that run.

"We've had a setback and sorted it out pretty quickly," he added.

"This is another setback and, obviously, we've got to come out quickly. It doesn't matter who we're playing, we've got to do that."

BPA - who have lost their last five matches - currently sit bottom of the National League North, recording three wins and three draws from their 24 contests, including a 2-1 defeat at York Street in September.
