Beckett to the rescue again

LUKE Beckett has come to the aid of injury-hit Worksop Town.

The 34-year-old goalscorer, who went on loan to Tigers from Gainsborough Trinity last season, signed for the club again last night - with Worksop desperate for frontmen.

Forwards Danny Davidson, Danny Bacon and Adam Muller are all injured, along with winger Sam Duncum and midfielders Matt Young and Josh Davis.

Beckett will go straight into the squad to face Marine at Sandy Lane tomorrow.

The former Stockport County and Huddersfield Town man played 13 times for Worksop last season, scoring four goals.
