Six-goal Trinity crush strugglers

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity’s climb up the Blue Square North table continued last night with a 6-1 demolition away at Eastwood Town.

A hat-trick from striker Ryan Kendall, two from Lewis McMahon and a Craig Nelthorpe goal moved the Blues up to fourth with their most emphatic win of the season so far.

The visitors’ task was made easier when struggling Eastwood were reduced to 10 men on 15 minutes.

Jarrod Westcarr grabbed a goal back for the hosts but it proved nothing more than a consolation.
