Ten star Kiveton Park hit double figures at strugglers Welbeck

Kiveton Park travelled to bottom of the table DFS Welbeck and returned with three points, after a 10-0 thrashing.

The visitors missed several openings before opening the scoring on 22 minutes with a Jack Poad tap-in, after good work between Steve McDonnell and Carl Longmore.

Kiveton had to wait until the 42nd minute for the second when Green lashed home from 20 yards.

The second half was a stroll for Park.

Longmore and Poad completed hat-tricks, McDonnell scored two by rounding the keeper on each occasion and substitute James Lawton completing the rout.

On Saturday Park are away at local rivals Phoenix, of Rotherham.

Kiveton Park Reserves squandered a host of ahcnes in their 2-1 defeat to Frechville Reserves.

Park took the initiative in the opening 30 minutes, going close through Kade Garforth, Sean Ebbs and Chris Nelson.

Against the run of play Frechville converted a dubious penalty to take the lead.

But Kiveton struck back five minutes before half-time through Bayou, who finished from close range.

The second half continued with Kiveton camped in Frechville’s half, but chances for Garforth and substitute Wellwood went begging.

Kiveton were punished in the dying moments on the counter and Frechville took home all three points.
