Professor Jonathan Van Tam caused a stir this morning after confessing he has discussed getting a tattoo to mark his love for Boston United.

The nation's deputy chief medical officer made the revelation while answering questions about the Covid-19 pandemic on ITV's Good Morning Britain just after 8am.

However, he would not be the first Pilgrims fan to be inked to show his love for the club as these pictures prove.
