Jordan Burrow has told the Boston United fans they will 'absolutely love' their new home.

The Jakemans Community Stadium is still under construction, but the Pilgrims' summer signing was given a guided tour before he penned his deal.

"It's very exciting. I went to have a look at the stadium with the gaffer on the day I signed," Burrow said.

"I was very very impressed with the facilities, the fans are going to absolutely love going there. It's a nice complex around the place too.

"Everything's on the up and looking in a positive direction. That's something I want to be involved in."

Burrow is looking forward to linking up with former FC Halifax Town teammate Scott Garner next season, as well as fellow Chesterfield lad Luke Shiels.

"I played against all the lads and with a few," Burrow said.

"Scott Garner, I played with at Halifax so I know what Garns is all about.

"I've never played with Luke Shiels but I've played against him and he's from Chesterfield, where I'm from. I know the way he plays, so I'm looking forward to it.

"There's a lot of players you know from playing against them, there's a good squad there. The squad's taking shape and looking good."

Burrow isn't announcing any individual targets this season, instead targeting promotion with the Pilgrims.

"The team comes first before individual accolades," he continued.

"We want to be successful as a team and that's the only achievement I've set.

"I know everyone says there's the buzz and they can't wait to get going, but that is the way I'm feeling.

"I really can't wait to pull the shirt on and start the new season."
