Tigers build squad with Towers
WORKSOP Town have added Corby Town goalscoring midfielder Steve Towers to their squad.
The 26-year-old, who was a target for Grantham Town, is the latest to join Simon Clark’s new-look team at Sandy Lane.
Clark is expecting goals from the new man.
He told the Guardian: “He’s got great energy, he’s a box to box player and he scores goals.”
“He’ll attack the box for us.”
Towers, who was employed in a defensive role by the Steelmen last season, has won Player of the Year awards at Corby and Stamford.
