Gary Frost’s side peppered the basement team’s goal but, despite the narrow scoreline, came away with three vital points in their title charge.

Victory was enough to see Wyberton make the most of their game in hand and narrow Sleaford Town Reserves’ lead even further.

Ant Slater and Elliot Pogson netted the matchwinning goals.

Wyberton will be in action again on Saturday as they travel to face fifth-placed Brigg Town Reserves (KO 3pm).
