Town ready for the Corinthians

Boston Town will be looking to put further space between themselves and Rothwell Corinthians when they lock horns on Saturday.

In a re-scheduled UCL Premier contests, the Poachers will host their rivals at the DWB Stadium.

Mark Angel will be hoping his side are back to their attacking best this weekend (KO 3pm).

Rothwell currently sit in 18th place, one position behind Town.

There is currently a five-point gap between the two sides, but Corinthians have four games in hand and Town will be looking to claim victory to keep them at bay.

Boston’s sceduled UCL Knockout Cup tie at Northampton Sileby Rangers was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch in Northamptonshire on Saturday.

A new date for the match is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, An Easter Monday derby at home to Sleaford is among the highlights of the latest batch of Boston Town fixtures released by the United Counties League.

The Poachers also have short trips to Wisbech and Deeping to look forward to - and on March 12 they will host AFC Kempston Rovers, who are remarkably still unbeaten in the league this season.
